Dear ACC Pink Ribbon Supporter:

U.S. Breast Cancer Statistics say that About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 12.4%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. In our club alone that represents almost 56 women who will develop or may already developed this terrible diagnosis. Once again, the Atlanta Country Club Ladies Golf and Tennis Associations are sponsoring the 21st Annual Pink Ribbon Week, in support of the It’s The Journey, Inc., producer of the Georgia 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. This local organization was founded 15 years ago by a breast cancer survivor and all the funds raised stay in the state of Georgia benefitting breast health and breast cancer programs in our community.

This is a great chance for Atlanta Country Club to join together and have some fun while raising monies for a worthy charity.

Come celebrate and fundraise October 15-18, 2018:

  • For everyone you know who died of cancer.
  • For everyone who won the battle against cancer.
  • For everyone who is currently fighting cancer.

It’s the Journey is a completely local non-profit, dedicated to providing much-needed funds for the breast cancer screening, research, early detection, diagnosis, and supportive services in Georgia. With the generous and dedicated support of donors, participants, and volunteers, they have been able to raise $14 million and give 335 grants for vital breast health services in over 100 counties. PLEASE NOTE:  It’s The Journey, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 2002 that raises funds for Georgia breast cancer organizations offering support to many women and men across the state.  What's Raised in Georgia, Stays in Georgia!
